Garage Door Questions
What does your warranty cover?
We offer a 30-day warranty on all repairs and a 12-month parts and labor warranty from the day of service for new installs.
Why won’t my door open or opens with difficulty?
Your spring may have broken. If this is the case, there will be a visible separation in your torsion spring, located above the garage door. It is important not to use your opener with a broken spring as it can cause damage to the door or opener. Replacing springs can be dangerous if you are not properly trained. Please give us a call for assistance.
Opener Questions
Why does my door begin to close but stops and reverses open?
Your safety eyes maybe blocked, dirty or misaligned. Remove any items out of the way, wipe the lens with a soft cloth, and adjust by hand until you see one side with a solid green light and the other with a solid amber or yellow light.
My keypad/remote won’t work?
Check your batteries. Remotes and keypads run off batteries that will need to be replaced.
Remotes/keypads can go bad and may need to be replaced. We offer replacement remotes/keypads for most openers newer than 1992.
Have you recently installed LED bulbs? In older openers, LED bulbs will interfere with the frequency of your remotes/keypads.
Remotes: Is your wall console in lock mode? When lock mode is engaged on your wall console, your keypad WILL work. However, your remotes/vehicle programming will NOT work.
Fence Questions
Who is responsible for locating utility lines on my property?
The Door and Fence Store locates all public utilities via the One Call System. Homeowners are responsible for locating private utilities (gas grill lines, satellite cable, ect.)
What are the fence options for my neighborhood?
It is your responsibility to contact your subdivision to assure the fence you have selected is acceptable according to your covenants.
What warranty do you have for fence installs?
All sales include a one-year workmanship warranty. This warranty does not include periodic gate adjustments.
